Doctor Michael O’Neil will provide you with the most technologically advanced eye examination while treating you with respect and compassion. Dr. O’Neil has extensive experience with children as well as adults, with over 1/3 of the practice dedicated to patients under the age of 20.
A children’s exam is similar to an adult’s exam with extra consideration given to testing eye movements, alignment, and amblyopia (lazy eye). NashobaVision has special tests for infants and toddlers that help diagnose conditions that are generally invisible to the untrained eye (see signs of poor vision in children). Treating these conditions early decreases the chances that they will develop into more serious or even permanent problems.
